Public website analytics
We use limited analytics on public marketing pages to understand which pages are useful, which sources lead visitors to Wolex and whether visitors start the security checkup purchase process.
Our site records aggregate page and action counts in a Wolex-controlled database. Public marketing pages also use Google Analytics 4. Google may process a session identifier, general device and browser information, and an approximate location derived from the connection used to reach the site. We disable Google Signals and advertising personalization. The Google Analytics cookie is limited to the current browser session.
We remove query strings from page addresses sent to Google Analytics. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, submitted domains, submitted IP addresses, assessment answers, report contents or payment-card information to Google Analytics.
Pages excluded from Google Analytics
Google Analytics is not loaded on checkout, assessment intake, operations, review, report, sandbox, email-preference or interactive Wolex Tools pages. These exclusions keep customer assessment data and locally processed tool input outside Google Analytics.
Security checkup information
When you purchase or complete a security checkup, we collect the business and contact information needed to deliver the service, document authorization, define the approved public-facing assets, communicate status and prepare the report. Do not submit passwords, private keys or other credentials.
We use this information only to provide the purchased service, operate the authorized workflow, maintain necessary business records and protect the service from misuse. Assessment data is handled separately from public website analytics.
Payments and service providers
Square hosts the payment page and processes payment-card information. Wolex receives provider identifiers and payment status needed to match the payment to the correct engagement. Wolex does not receive or store full payment-card details.
We use service providers, including Cloudflare for website hosting and security, Google for public-site analytics, Square for payments and Resend for transactional email. Each provider processes limited information needed to perform its function.
Your choices
You can block or clear analytics cookies using your browser settings. Browser privacy controls and content blockers may also prevent Google Analytics from loading. Blocking analytics does not prevent you from viewing the site or purchasing the security checkup.
Optional marketing follow-up is separate from transactional service messages. You can decline it during checkout or use the unsubscribe link in a marketing message.
